Baumea articulata, jointed Baumea, jointed twig rush

Baumea articulata is a vigorous rush type plant found growing in swampy areas. It has round dark green segmented stems and grows to a height of 1.2m. The flowering stems are about as long as the leaves, with reddish brown seed spikes. It will grow in shallow water making it ideal for wetland plantings.
